Now, more than fourteen days later, I still have no word from either publishing house. I've contacted both. One company has flat out refused to respond to the two emails I sent them. The other possible employer told me I would be contacted sometime next week (that would be this week, as we spoke last week). But just yesterday, their website re-listed the position for which I was being considered. That cannot be a good sign.
On the bright side, our short film has been getting some press and online views. Also, it was accepted into the Big Apple Film Festival, where it will be screened next month.
