I want to go to parties that solely have music like this and where everyone only dances like this:

Enya, a singleography...
September 14, 2008 – 11:20pm
Identical sounds of Enya are coming from two separate bedrooms in my apartment. Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up. Up up up. Sail away sail away sail away…
The sound waves meet somewhere in our hallway and mingle with each other, like two people who are obviously attracted to each other, but it is a new attraction and no one has made a catapulting effort for the other yet. Chivalry and willingness lie in the horizon. Both parties are unsure of the other’s attraction, yet it is evident. They both know it exists, but have only known for a short while – a day or so. Both of them, or at least one of them, knows that something will become of these feelings soon. If something hasn’t already. Behold the Second Cumming.
Another Enya song begins. This night could not get any better. Well, of course it could, but would it be worth it? Enya is always worth it…and better. Better than nothing.
Who can say why your heart sighs? As your love cries? Only time. Apparently time knows everything. It knows why your heart cries when your love lies. But how could your love lie to you? Could the glorious songstress be referring to the idea of being in love with someone who, in the end, turns out to be someone that you do not love? But this is impossible. Because for that moment you indeed love them, whether or not you end up feeling the same way in the future. Who knows? Only time. Enya seems to be contradicting herself within one song. She is untrustworthy. We shall try another song of hers.
The wind sifts through the leaves attached to the branches of the tree outside my window. Soon the leaves will be gone. Because it is the beginning of the fall, which is the end of summer, which is the beginning of the winter. Okay, now begin Enya…
If you really want to, you can seize the day. Only if you want to you will fly away. This is true, you can only fly if you really, really want to. I have always wanted to fly, or so I thought. Because I have never been able to fly away I guess I didn't ever really want to. Unless…is Enya speaking in metaphor? Oh I hope she is, because if she is, then I fit the description of this song so perfectly! Oh no, I have never literally flown away, but I have “flown” away several times. So many times I can’t even count the frequency. Often, I leave my nest of comforting twigs and ephemeral bliss and “fly” away to a new nest that seems more soothing than the one I have at present. This is good. This song is over. New song please, Enya.
As the next video loads I should inform you of my goal for the night, and that is to exhaust all Enya songs via youtube.
Oh boy. This Enya song is my favorite. Everywhere I turn to begins a new beginning. Ahhhh. Optimism is refreshing, isn’t it Enya? Are you staying with me tonight? Anywhere is. (These aren’t actually the correct lyrics of the song, but I like these ones better.) Because – it is relevant. Are you staying with me tonight? Oh I hope so. So naively and innocently!!!
I look up to the minutes, my mind is clouded over. A spark of constellation. I only really know Orion. (Again, I don’t believe these are the actual lyrics, but I have grown tired of fact checking.) The echoes of their story, but all I hear are low sighs. The yellow waves are leaving. I am only dreaming. We go on forever. Towards a trail of old times, in hopes that I can still find my way back to that moment. Oh that moment. I am still looking for the answer. It’s neither this or that way. It could be own reflection. I might be just beginning I might be near the end.
The very end this time. Oh joy thank you for the good times and food fights. My only wish is to see you tonight, but at what is now 11:37 my hopes have become somewhat dwindled. But like Enya has taught me over these past thirty-seven minutes – embrace your optimism. It is the only thing that will get you anywhere in life. That, and superimposed imagery. Impositions are always good. Thanks Enya! TTYL!!
